The Move the Money Pledge

Pledge for being a better humon on a poster with frayed edges

Stand with Us. Demand Peace, Not Militarization.

I believe that our communities thrive when we invest in people — not war.

At a time when U.S. military forces are being deployed on American streets, immigrant communities are facing militarized crackdowns, and the federal budget continues to fund weapons over wellness, I say:

❌ No more military crackdowns on peaceful protest.

❌ No more bloated Pentagon budgets.

✅ Yes to housing, healthcare, education, clean energy, and justice.

By signing this pledge, I affirm that

  • I oppose the use of U.S. military forces for domestic law enforcement without explicit congressional approval, in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.
  • I reject the continued militarization of U.S. borders, cities, and police forces, which disproportionately harms communities of color, immigrants, and peaceful protesters.
  • I support a redirection of federal military spending toward social programs that ensure real security — jobs, schools, housing, healthcare, and climate justice.
  • I will advocate for state and federal officials to enforce constitutional protections, demilitarize public spaces, and invest in peace.
