Tell your Congressperson to vote YES on the Back to Work Budget

Tomorrow, the Congressional Progressive Caucus plans to release the Back to Work Budget as an alternative to the Ryan budget. The Back to Work Budget would not only repeal sequester, it would invest money into infrastructure, education, and state aid to create jobs. It also reigns in corporate tax loopholes, taxes the wealthy, and cuts the Pentagon budget to 2006 levels.

This proposal would create an alternative to the austerity budget Ryan is proposing, and get us back on track for economic recovery. It also goes to a vote next week. I will be making my voice heard in support of this alternative, and hope others will join me.

Contact your Congressperson and ask them to vote for the Back to Work Budget. It’s as easy as giving Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt a call and telling them that you support this budget and hope you can count on their voting yes for it.
