Hiroshima/Nagasaki Commemoration

Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, the Ethical Action Committee of the Ethical Society, Citizens for Global Solutions, the Center for Health, Environment and Justice, and PEP will host Kay Drey to speak on nuclear armaments. Drey will address the present and future of U.S. nuclear weapons production and policy and the nuclear waste at West Lake Landfill in St. Louis County.

The event will begin with a potluck dinner and will end with the traditional floating of memorial candlelit “boats.” The potluck will start at 6 p.m., with Drey speaking at 7 p.m.
