Ferguson Jail Support Training

Thursday, November 13
7:00 pm
438 N Skinker Blvd.

Interested in working in solidarity with protesters on the ground in Ferguson and throughout St. Louis?

Jail Support is a great way to do it. By volunteering, you will help staff a 24/7 hotline which fields calls from arrestees and their families, support individuals while they are in jail and help them get out of jail, and coordinate legal counsel.

We know that there may be a non-indictment decision coming from the grand jury soon, and after the announcement we are expecting a large number of protesters in the street and a highly militarized and aggressive police response, so we will need more volunteers than ever to staff jail support.

Come attend a training on November 13th at 7pm at 438 N Skinker to learn about Jail Support and how best to volunteer. No experience working with the legal system is required!

If you aren’t able to make it on Thursday but are still interested, please email join@organizemo.org and someone will reach out to you with more information!
