Dividing Lines: An open conversation about race in Saint Louis

Thursday, January 22
7:00 – 9:00 pm
Urb Arts, 2600 N 14th

2014 will go down as one of the most pivotal years in Saint Louis history. The death of Mike Brown brought to the surface nationally an already prevalent racial divide that has plagued many aspects of Saint Louis life for years. A conversation on this subject is long overdue and necessary if we are to move forward as one city.

The objective of this forum is to respectfully and openly discuss the aforementioned issue with the goal of coming up with tangible solutions that create real and long lasting change. A diverse panel will be on hand to discuss the topic and give their insight on the subject in a warm, friendly, and informed manner. What’s equally important as our experts input is your voice and perspective.

This is a touchy subject, emotions can and may run high, and point of views may vary but the only way we can make our home a better place is to face our challenges together.
