Boeing’s bid for a South Korean fighter jet project worth an estimated $7.64 billion appears likely to be accepted.

Boeing Co’s F-15 Silent Eagle was the only eligible bid coming in under budget, according to Reuters.

Lockheed Martin Corp. and Eurofighter also submitted bids.

The deal will be scrutinized by a final decision-making committee chaired by South Korea’s defense minister, according to the news agency. That committee will meet next week.
