Congress is continuing to face critical tax and budget choices that could cripple or eliminate vital programs that help families, children, unemployed workers, and seniors. Join the Community Action Agency of St. Louis, the Coalition on Human Needs, the Missouri Budget Project, and other Missourians for a community forum on June 3rd, to learn more about the choices facing Congress and how they affect support for seniors on fixed incomes, job creation, education and training, people with disabilities, cancer patients, college students and public school children.

Featuring:

Tom Kruckemeyer, Director of Fiscal Policy & Chief Economist, Missouri Budget Project
The Missouri Budget Project is a non-partisan organization, based in St. Louis. The group advocates in favor of fiscally responsible public policies that advance the well-being of all Missourians, particularly our most vulnerable families who too often don’t have a voice in policy decisions.

Deborah Weinstein, Executive Director, Coalition on Human Needs
Based in Washington, DC, the Coalition on Human Needs focuses on protecting important services from harmful budget cuts and saving the federal capacity to spur economic recovery and progress for the benefit of all through the SAVE for All campaign.

Additional speakers to be announced shortly.
