Defunding public broadcasting in order to expand military budgets betrays the public interest and undermines our collective well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">At a time when disinformation and division are on the rise, silencing public media threatens to erode the very foundations of democratic society. We call on Congress to <strong>reject these cuts<\/strong> and uphold its responsibility to fund institutions that educate, enlighten, and empower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Peace Economy Project envisions a world where resources uplift communities \u2014 not conflict.
