Through compelling speeches, musical performances, poetry readings, and a collective candlelight vigil, attendees will honor lives lost to gun violence while rallying for policy changes that promote safety and justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Event Highlights Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Keynote Speakers: <\/strong>Community leaders, survivors, and advocates will share stories of resilience and inspire action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Community Performances: <\/strong>A special performance by Central VPA students and poetry readings by local artists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Candlelight Vigil &amp; Advocacy Action<\/strong>: Attendees will light electric candles and write valentines to lawmakers, urging the passage of stronger gun safety legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Katerina Canyon, Executive Director of PEP,<\/strong> stressed the event\u2019s significance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u201c<em>The Valentine\u2019s Day Vigil Against Gun Violence is a space for healing, solidarity, and action.
