Next month, the Peace Economy Project will be in Washington, DC to talk with senators and representatives about the dangers of the military-industrial complex and the need for a more stable, peace-based economy. But, in order for us to be heard, we need your voice! You can find a link to the Appeal here<\/a>.<\/strong> Please sign on and have your voice heard in DC!<\/p>\n

It’s time to re-think and re-prioritize our spending. The 2016 budget proposal for the Pentagon is the largest ever. Instead of funding weapons of war, we need to maintain safety nets, preserve funding for human needs and protect those who are most vulnerable.<\/p>\n
