The Peace Economy Project is hitting the streets to collect signatures for our Congressional Appeal. The message is simple, cut Pentagon waste and reinvest in human needs. (Check out the full appeal statement here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

But we need your help to raise the voices of the people of St. Louis!<\/p>\n

We’re looking for interns to help distribute our Congressional Appeal to friends, neighbors, and community members. We’ll be working mostly in the community, talking to people about the need to reduce Pentagon waste to create more funding for social programs we greatly need. Social media work will also be incorporated. Training will be provided, and we’ll have signature gathering days where we’ll all head out together.<\/p>\n
