State of the Union Watch Party and Discussion

Tuesday, January 20
7:15 – 9:45 pm
Veterans for Peace Office, 1404 N Broadway

Veterans For Peace will be hosting a State of the Union Watch Party at our new national office, located at 1404 N. Broadway St. Louis, MO. The State of the Union is delivered annually by the President to a joint session of the United States Congress. While this speech is often used as a marketing tool by the President, filled with optimistic predictions and open-ended promises, it also provides an opportunity for us to gather together as a community.

Following the speech, we will have a short, open discussion about the issues facing our nation, including those that the President may leave out in his speech. Please join us on January 20th at 7:15 pm. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. If you have any questions about the evening, please e-mail casey@veteransforpeace.org
