PEP HOSTS FUNDRAISING CONCERT

The Peace Economy Project will hold its annual fundraising concert at 6:30 p.m. on April 28th at Tegler Hall at St. Louis University. The title of the concert is Burton Music for Peace and it will feature the music of Motown.

A black bean soup and salad supper will start at 6:30 p.m. and the music will start at 8:30 pm. There will be a chocolate potluck, but other desserts are also welcome. Katerina Canyon serves as Executive Director of the Peace Economy Project, where she combines her passion for community advocacy, creative expression, and social justice to challenge militarization and uplift human-centered policy. Drawing on experience in tech, nonprofits, and international communication, she leads research and organizing focused on peace, accountability, and community investment. She is also a poet whose work explores trauma, resilience, and collective healing.
