PEP Goes to Washington

In less than a week, PEP executive director Jasmin Maurer and Congressional lobby intern Ricky Shah will be headed to Capitol Hill. The purpose of this trip is to hand deliver the over 400 signatures we got on our appeal to Congress to reduce military spending.

They will be meeting with every office who had a constituent sign, including sit down meetings with staff from Senator Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt’s offices, and the offices of Ann Wagner, Blaine Luetkemeyer, Emmanuel Cleaver, Jason Smith, and Rodney Davis.

The Peace Economy Project relies primarily on grassroots contributions to sustain its work. To support this trip and all of PEP’s work to advocate against a military-industrial complex, please donate via PayPal or send a check to 438 N Skinker Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63130.
