Dr. Henry Berger, Professor Emeritus of History at Washington University, speaking on the role of the United States in the promotion of peace in the Middle East and the World, and Dr. Brian Arendt, Professor of Chinese Studies at Lindenwood University, speaking on the role of China in a turbulent world. The event is sponsored by the Lentz Peace Research Association, a foundation that continues to promote the work of Theodore F. Lentz. A professor at Washington University, Dr. Lentz deveoted his life to the “science of peace.

The Peace Economy Project is pleased to co-sponsor the event. The lecture is free to attend and open to the public.

Katerina Canyon serves as Executive Director of the Peace Economy Project, where she combines her passion for community advocacy, creative expression, and social justice to challenge militarization and uplift human-centered policy. Drawing on experience in tech, nonprofits, and international communication, she leads research and organizing focused on peace, accountability, and community investment. She is also a poet whose work explores trauma, resilience, and collective healing.
