Expanding Medicaid is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do

This week, the Missouri Medicaid Coalition kicked off its campaign to expand Medicaid in our state. Missouri has an unprecedented opportunity to expand Medicaid, which would give 255,000 more Missourians access to health insurance, while creating 24,000 new jobs. Expanding Medicaid is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do for all of us. We simply can’t miss this opportunity to help so many hardworking families.

We all must contact our elected officials throughout this legislative session to remind them that Missourians want them to expand Medicaid. Grassroots support helped drive Governor Nixon to come out in support of Medicaid Expansion. We all need to raise our voices and send a message to our legislature.
