PEP Launches New Website
Welcome to the Peace Economy Project’s new website. Launched on January 18, the new website design creates a different way to access PEP’s base of information on the military industrial complex.
The new site strives to make finding relevant information on PEP’s priorities easier. The decision to update the look was made in part to continue the organization’s goal of educating the community about the dangers of an unchecked military complex.
Marion Sudvarg, a senior at Washington University in St. Louis, designed the new website. Although obtaining degrees in math and physics, Marion is known for his website development skills, and was instrumental to the creation of the site.
His design features news and blogs on the front page, that will be updated frequently to ensure up to date news on PEP happenings. A new resource section will provide a guide for researching more in depth on the nature of the military industrial complex, and the affects of a militarized world.
Although officially launched, more content is still being added, including updated information about issues that PEP focuses its research on. Those having difficulty finding information on the new website can contact PEP staff at peaceeconomyproject@gmail.com.
