Come voice opposition to US Military Intervention in Syria!
Syrians have bravely taken to the streets and protested against the regime, extremists and all others looking to destroy their struggle for freedom and dignity. Missiles and troops from the Western World will cause more harm than good.

The United States is not a reliable nor trustworthy global citizen. The US history of invasions, occupations and drone strikes show that the United States will not be respecting the sovereignty or safety of the Syrian population.

We Stand with the Syrian people who have been engaged in standing up against the oppressive and tyrannical Assad regime for 2 1/2 years, as we stand will all people liberating themselves from oppression!

“A US- or NATO-led attack, which appears to be imminent, is likely to be disastrous for Syrians (as well as Lebanese and Palestinians). If the attack is intense enough to completely destroy the Syrian regime it will destroy whatever is left of Syria. If it is not, it will leave the regime in place to retaliate where it is strong, against its internal enemies, except now having its nationalist credentials bolstered as having fought off US aggression.”http://www.jadaliyya.com/pages/index/13852/chemical-attacks-and-military-interventions

“Much of the media is simplistically categorizing the Syrian people into militarized loyalist or rebel camps. As this interactive map, shows, however, the actions and beliefs of Syrians cannot be delineated so easily. Created by the Syria Nonviolence Movement, the map presents and connects an immense number of organizations, local initiatives, and forms of media that are non-violently resisting the Assad regime.” http://www.fastcolabs.com/3016532/this-interactive-infographic-shows-the-depth-of-the-syrian-resistance

“With Syria back in the news due to the horrific chemical weapons attack last week that killed hundreds and threats from the US to engage in military strikes, below are some do’s and don’ts for progressive/radical anti-war organizations/activists in the US as you figure out a proper response.”http://mondoweiss.net/2013/08/dos-and-donts-for-progressives-discussing-syria.html
