Jason Sibert has been named the executive director of the Peace Economy Project. He comes to the organization with over 17 years of experience in the field of journalism. He worked for the Suburban Journals for a decade and has worked for a variety of publications as a freelance writer since then. Over the years, he’s penned a number of pieces on environmental issues as well as local issues and politics. Sibert also spent some time working in accounting, sales and marketing.
He’s also a former contributor to PEP and appreciates the opportunity to work for the organization and express his views on appropriate levels of military spending, international law, and the need for vigorous diplomacy to limit the number of military engagements oversees.
